Free agency this season means that there are a lot of good players that will begin to find new homes beginning December 9.

Unfortunately, it also means that many bad players are also going to sign new deals as well.

With that being said, let's take a look at some of the least competent NBA free agents on the market. These are guys teams should try to avoid.

Yi Jianlian

I believe you can now officially call the four-year veteran a bust. It's amazing how he was drafted so high, because this guy isn't very good at any aspect of the game. He can't handle the ball, lacks instincts and has no strength.

Kwame Brown

The former No. 1 overall pick has been called everything from a bust to a cancer so far in his career. It's amazing he's been in the league for a decade, but size will lengthen your career.

He has horrible hands and bad instincts at both ends of the floor. However, in his defense, Brown put together an average season in Charlotte a season ago.

D.J. Mbenga

Here's another guy whose size keeps him hanging around, who has just a little bit of value on the defensive end of the floor. However, he has very little basketball talent otherwise. Mbenga has no hands, can't shoot, is extremely clumsy and commits fouls like there is no tomorrow.

This list could obviously go on and on, but that's an example of just three of the guys that will get new contract offers despite lacking competence on an NBA floor.
