Texas WR Jordan Shipley Staying for 6th Year... Almost Van Wilder Status

Welp Texas has just locked up the Preseason No. 1 seed in football next year. With his No. 1 QB Colt McCoy already pledging to come back to school next year, Mac Brown now has his No. 1 WR to go along with him. Jordan Shipley was granted a magical 6th year of college sports!

With Van Wilder setting the record at seven years in college, Shipley is now one year behind him. One injury this off season and he could ascend to the legendaryness that is Van Wilder Status.

Even with only six years of college to his credit we think Shipley has done it way bigger than V.Wilder did. I mean come on…the guy has been on the one of the top football teams in the nation, in a state where football is life, at arguably the college with the most dimes. Life has been good to Shipley.

Enjoy the final year of the ride our friend, who knows it may end in a National Championship.
