WWE Monday Night Raw will again be a Supershow this week, live from the Colonial Life Arena in Columbus, South Carolina. Tonight's Raw is surrounded by the pending departure of John Morrison from the WWE and John Cena's entrance into Piper's Pit.
On Sunday night Morrison tweeted, "I'll post more about the future next week. Right now I'm planning on tearing the house down at RAW tomorrow in Columbia, SC!"
Morrison was first introduced to the WWE audience in 2002, when he was a co-winner of the third season of the WWE Tough Enough Competition.
After doing his time in the developmental territory of Ohio Valley Wrestling, Morrison made his WWE debut in 2004.
Since then, Morrison has gone on to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship on five occasions and the Intercontinental Championship on three occasions.
The biggest championship that Morrison won is the ECW Championship, but that doesn't hold a candle to the flame of the career he should have had in the WWE.
Perhaps we will never know why Morrison was held back, though some say it was due to his relationship with former WWE diva, Melina.
It is worth noting that the WWE hasn't officially announced that Morrison is departing, but just like his theme says, "this ain't no make believe."
There also seem to be plans to have Brodus Clay take Morrison out of action for good, as he tweeted that he was planning to "destroy" Morrison tonight. However, the tweet was quickly deleted.
Meanwhile, John Cena is expected to open the show with WWE Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper inside of the legendary Piper's Pit.
The history of Piper's Pit is illustrious. The pit featured legendary moments such as Andre the Giant's betrayal of Hulk Hogan and the famous coconut smashing over Jimmy Snuka's head.
Who's side will Piper's Pit take? Team Bring It or CeNation? We'll find out live on tonight on Raw!
