IconFly Eagles Fly, On the Road To Victory!

Will They Fly With Their Head Cut Off?

I am a diehard Philadelphia Eagles Fan who will stand by them until the end.  It was however very frustrating to watch that game against the Tennessee Titans yesterday 11/19/06 as our "Star" Quarterback went down and was carried off the field with an injury.  The team tried hard to keep hope alive, but never seemed to get up the momentum needed for a victory.  I am a woman and I don't claim to know everything about football, but I do know that it is impossible for one person to carry a whole team, therefore a whole team should not collapse at the removal of one player, even if it is McNabb.  The Eagles Fans have stood behind this team for the last 5 years...and been let down every time!

Today the headline reads "MCNABB OUT FOR THE SEASON."

Does this mean the team should put their tails between their legs and wallow in self pity?  NO it does not - it is an opportunity for teammates to step up to the plate and show McNabb and Philadelphia Fans what they are really made of.  They need to discipline themselves, review their mistakes, train harder, remain committed and then come out on the field and execute the plays.  Show McNabb that as a leader he has built up enough momentum for this team over the past few years for the rest of the Team to bring it home. YOU CAN DO IT!!
