This Monday, David Beckham was reported to have said that Manchester City have no chance of winning the Premier League this season.

Although City are currently top of the Premier League, five points clear of Beckham's former club Manchester United, the former England captain has dismissed Roberto Mancini's chances of piping his boyhood club to the title, saying "I don't think Manchester City have a chance."

Beckham has never been noted for his intelligence, and this goes to cement that theory even further.

Obviously, Beckham is biased to a club that has provided him with the great lifestyle he currently has, but this has got to be one of the craziest things the extravagant Beckham has ever said.

Beckham stated that "Manchester United have more experience and know how to win championships."

Okay, fair enough United have a massive amount of experience in their current squad.

But so do City—the likes of Yaya Toure, Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli have all won league titles and more during their glittering careers.

Also, the likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva have been brought into the club to push the likes of United and Chelsea for the English league title.

The other thing Beckham failed to notice is that his beloved United are nowhere as good as they once were.

Sir Alex Ferguson decided at the beginning of this season that he would go with the talented group of youngsters at his disposal.

This hasn't worked, though, and even though United are still second, they seem to be a long way off their very high standards.

Idol of millions David Beckham may be, this time he has found something that he cannot turn his hand too...predictng league title winners.

But who knows, the man has proved millions of people wrong in the past...
