Chargers-Buccaneers: Quentin Jammer Makes Jeff Garcia Pay

Ian PhilipAnalyst IIIDecember 22, 2008

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Jeff Garcia, coming off a leg injury, put his sticks to good use against the San Diego Chargers Sunday.

I nearly had a heart attack while Jeff Garcia repeatedly ran for first downs when a lesser quarterback (Brian Griese) would have been sacked.  On top of that, Garcia continuously dove head first to maximize his yardage.

I literally screamed at the TV, "if this bastard wants to run on every down like a running back, then hit him in the @#*$%& face like a running back!!!"

As San Diego was holding on for the win in the fourth quarter, Quentin Jammer delivered a shoulder to a scrambling Jeff Garcia's face which opened up a huge cut on the bridge of Garcia's nose.

That's what he gets man.  This is not college, it's the NFL.  However, I think we can all agree that tough guy Jeff Garcia can take a shot!

Where can I comment?
