Clemson Rallies to Defeat Miami, 91-72: 12-0 Start Leads Division I

On Sunday night in Coral Gables, Florida, the Clemson Tigers rallied after being down by 12 points to defeat Miami, 91-72, to open ACC play.

Clemson and Pittsburgh are tied with 12-0 records to lead all Division I programs.  Also on Sunday, No. 3 Pittsburgh won over Florida State, 56-48, to remain undefeated.

The No. 25 Tigers were led by K.C. Rivers with a game high 28, followed by Terrence Oglesby with 17 and Demontez Stitt with 10.  Teammate Trevor Booker finished with eight points and a game high 16 rebounds.  Jack McClinton's 20 led Miami.

For the game Clemson had 19 assists and 13 steals.  Of the 36 rebounds the Tigers recorded, 18 were on offense and 18 were defensive boards.  The halftime score was 38-30; however, the Tigers outscored their opponents 53-42 in the second half.
