It's rivalry week in college football and the most exciting game on the schedule is the Iron Bowl matchup between SEC rivals No. 2 Alabama and Auburn.

Last season, Tigers quarterback Cam Newton led an amazing fourth quarter comeback on the road to beat the Crimson Tide and ruin their BCS title dreams, and Auburn will be trying to do that again this season.

Alabama will hope it can put that nightmare to rest and forge their own path to the BCS championship game.

Newton took a huge step in winning the Heisman Trophy with his performance against Alabama last year, and Crimson Tide running back Trent Richardson will hope he can do the same with a great game Saturday that will impress Heisman voters.

Regardless of how good these teams are right now, the spirit of the rivalry will bring out the passion and intensity of all the players.

This rivalry is huge in Alabama, there's no other way to describe it. This is one of those so called "trap" games for Alabama because Auburn does have a lot of talent, and even though they may not be as good as last year's BCS title team, the emotion of the rivalry will bring out the best in the Tigers.

Alabama is on course to advance to the BCS national championship game with a win as this is the final regular season game for them before bowls begin in December.

Nick Saban must have his guys focused and ready to play so their is no letdown.

The Iron Bowl rivalry is the best college football has to offer. Yes, it's even better than Ohio State vs. Michigan, Miami vs. Florida State, and Oklahoma vs. Texas.
