Stanford 28, Notre Dame 14 -- FINAL

The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame head west to take on Andrew Luck and the Stanford Cardinal in this annual rivalry game.

Stanford marched into South Bend last season and walked away with a 37-14 victory behind the power running of Stepfan Taylor, who rushed for 108 yards in the contest. Both he and Luck returned this season and have guided the Cardinal to a 10-1 record.

A trip to the BCS national title game is on the line Saturday night, as LSU remains as the only undefeated team from the Big Six conferences.

An upset by the Fighting Irish would derail those championship dreams and propel Brian Kelly's squad into a 2012 season already brimming with high expectations.

Looks as if we're in for a doozy.

Hang on, it's No. 22 Notre Dame taking on No. 6 Stanford.
