Canadiens-Hurricanes: Carey Price Gets the Call Against Carolina

Kevin van Steendelaar@@LeTirEtLeButAnalyst IDecember 21, 2008

After missing six games while nursing both the flu and a right quadriceps/knee problem, Carey Price will get the start tonight as his Montreal Canadiens host the Carolina Hurricanes.

This will be the last time these two teams face each other in the regular season. The Canes lead the season series 2-1, with the most recent 3-2 Carolina win on Tuesday that saw the Canadiens take 11 consecutive minor penalties.

Montreal has won their last two games while the Canes come off a 4-2 loss to the Boston Bruins Saturday afternoon after going 3-0-3 in the six games prior.
