Dallas Cowboys Lose, Leave Philadelphia Eagles in Better Position For Wild Card

Last night, wow, I can't believe I'm still up to have to call it that. It feels like it was tonight, but the Ravens defeated the Cowboys 33-24 in the last regular season game in Texas Stadium. Philadelphia Eagles fans hope it is the last game played in Texas Stadium.

With the loss, the Eagles move ahead of the Dallas Cowboys, but that didn't really matter in the rankings. It's just a little momentum booster. There was no way both the Cowboys and the Eagles could make the playoffs, having Dallas close the season in Philadelphia.

Now with Dallas fighting for it's life, the Eagles hope to jump even farther ahead of the Cowboys. Everyone knows with the loss, Dallas possibly just ruined its playoff chances. It's kind of sad to see how things turn around. But, the Eagles do not care about the sob story in Dallas. They have their own destiny to change!

The loss lets the Eagles know that Dallas will be going into the last game with a one game losing streak. Let's really put the hurt on the Cowboys. All we have to do is win. How hard is that when you have two division rivals left to play? Oh, don't get me wrong, it's very hard, but, I think the Eagles can do it.

Hopefully the Eagles will beat the Redskins today. I use the word "hope" or "hopefully" a lot. It makes me nervous, but if I were 100% sure, the Eagles would have a 19-0 season. Hopefully, Atlanta or Tampa Bay will lose, but I'm pretty sure one of them will lose. I'm very confident in the Eagles.

A message to all Eagles fans: Do not lose hope just because we are half a game behind in the wild card race. Anything can happen. Hold on tight. Hope.
