After showing blistering speed in practice, Webber was on a march in Qualifying. However, his customary bad luck came to play. A front right brake failure sent the hometown hero into the gravel at turn six.

This was the last we saw of Webber. Heading out of turn three, Webber was collected by rookie Kazuki Nakajima, breaking Webber's rear suspension.

Best Comeback

After a suspension scare on Friday with Coulthard, Webber was to make amends. Webber even had Lewis Hamilton following him almost half of the race.

After a qualifying error, Webber was stuck in the midfield. He would finish 13th.

Teammate Coulthard, however, scored a sensational podium in third.

Return to Points

It was a return to points upon return to Europe for Webber. Sixth place may not have been, after he almost spun coming out of the final chicane.

Webber qualified on the front row, the first ever for Red Bull Racing.

However, he was unable to capitalize on his strong starting position.

Dissapointment

Webber was left licking his wounds after spinning on Hangar straight on lap one.

He would eventually finish 10th after a poor tyre decision by the team left him struggling.

Webber was left on the side of the road, after his car collected debris from Timo Glock's car after his massive shunt.

After two consecutive non-points finishes, Webber was on a mission to make amends. However, the result wasn't what he hoped for, finishing ninth, just outside the points.

It was damage limitation at Valencia, as Webber and Red Bull Racing were far off the pace.

Webber was ruing an incident involving Heiki Kavalainen, which lost him valuable time, in hand results and points. He would end up finishing ninth, before a penalty to Timo Glock promoted the Aussie to eighth.

However, the race wasn't going to finish the same way. The Aussie suffered from a poor pit strategy, a spin, and contact with Lewis Hamilton to eventually limp home in eighth.

Webber was first to get caught out by the walls of the Singapore Street Circuit.

Webber was on track for a podium after swift decision making enabled Webber and Coulthard to pit before the safety car came out.

However, rewards were very few and far between, with Webber retiring with a suspected gearbox issue, from a electrical surge from a tram passing under.

Chinese Charging

After a 10-grid-spot penalty for an engine change, Webber was on a mission to charge up the field. However, his aggressive strategy had not paid off, leaving him in 14th.

Bingled Brazil

For the final race of the season, Webber started 12th after failing to pass Q2 in qualifying. He was running around tenth for most of the race, to eventually finish a disappointing ninth. Not what he wanted to cap off the season.
