Real Madrid will battle La Liga rival Atletico Madrid on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabéu as the league leaders look to maintain their lead over Barcelona.

Los Blancos' Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria suffered an injury during a 7-1 win against Osasuna in early November and may return for Saturday's match against Atletico Madrid, according to

Di Maria is one of the many talented forwards for Madrid who have led the club to 42 goals in La Liga play, the most in the league.

Atletico Madrid are looking to move up the table from ninth place with a big upset against their Madrid rivals, but they have a huge challenge in front of them.

Let's look at everything you need to know about this awesome Spanish rivalry.

Where: Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid, Spain

Watch: Sky Sports HD1, ESPN3 in USA

When: Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2:00 p.m.

Key Matchup: Real Madrid forwards vs. Atletico defense

The Real Madrid forwards, especially Karim Benzema, have been scoring in huge totals this season in all competitions.

Madrid destroyed Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League match on Tuesday with four goals in 20 minutes.

Atletico has to limit the amount of quality chances the Los Blancos have if they want any chance at an upset.

Player to watch for Real Madrid: Gonzalo Higuain

The Argentinian forward has scored 11 goals for Real Madrid in league matches this season, yet he has only started six La Liga games.

There are whisperings of a possible transfer for Higuain this January, but Real would be foolish to get rid of a very dependable and talented player despite having a wealth of attacking talent.

Player to watch for Atletico Madrid: Diego

The Brazilian midfielder scored the club's winning goal in their 3-2 La Liga victory over Levante on November 20, and has been very good for Atletico Madrid this season.

He has given Madrid an all-around talent in the midfield that is good defensively as well. If he can set up quality scoring chances for teammates and contribute himself, then Madrid will have a chance at an upset.

Key Matchup: Karim Benzema vs. Atletico back four

French striker Karim Benzema has played well this season and has cemented a place in Los Blancos manager Jose Mourinho's starting XI.

Benzema has excelled in all competitions for Madrid this season and will be a player Atletico must stop on Saturday to contain the talented Madrid attack.

What They're Saying

Ateltico star Falcao is trying his best to be fit for the club's game against Real Madrid on Sunday.

"It is true that we do not have a big margin, but I will do everything possible to be at the Bernabeu," Falcao told reporters at the airport.

"It will all depend on how I feel. That will be an important factor to know whether I will be able to play that match. But I hope that my recovery will go well."

Prediction: 3-1 Real Madrid

Real Madrid played well against Valencia last weekend and passed a tough test with a 3-2 win. Atletico will play tough and make life difficult for their rivals but they do not have the firepower to match Real's attacking talent.

If Falcao does not play, there is no way Atletico can pull off an upset. Real Madrid are firing on all cylinders right now, and when they put their second squad on the pitch they are dominating teams.
