This was a magical year for the Oklahoma State Cowboys Football team. The end of the season will come when the Cowboys face Oregon in San Diego at the Holiday Bowl.
A win would cap one of the best seasons in program history, and it might be even better next year.
Oklahoma State went 9-3 on the regular season. Two of their three losses were on the road at Texas and Texas Tech. Both of those teams had their time in the number one spot. The third loss was to Oklahoma at home, who plays in the BCS National Championship.
The cowboys only lost to Texas by four points.
Two of the three losses are played at home along with a visit from the University of Georgia, the first game of next season.
The Cowboys have been good at home. The only loss was to number one Oklahoma. Still, the Cowboys poured forty points on an Oklahoma defense that only allowed Texas Tech 21 the week before.
If you look at the home schedule and the fact that Bradford and Crabtree are most likely leaving along with others, then the OSU—Texas game might be for the chance to go to the Big 12 Championship. It's an early prediction, but the planets are in line. The Cowboys just have to go get it.
