Hot Stove Report: Cleveland Indians
The Cleveland Indians’ 2011 season was both a disappointment and a success. The team improved by 11 games from 2010, finished second in the AL Central and enjoyed breakout performances by several young players. However, there was potential for much more. On June 1, the Indians had the majors’ best record (33-20) and largest division lead (five games). They finished 80-82 and 15 games behind the Detroit Tigers.
