Iowa State has upset No. 2 Oklahoma State 37-31 in double overtime to create BCS bedlam that will sprak much debate over who should replace the Cowboys as the No. 2 ranked team in the BCS standings over the next few weeks.

There are now several one-loss teams who have worthy cases to earn a championship game berth.

Could you imagine if No. 6 Arkansas beats No. 1 LSU on November 25? If that happens I think the BCS computers would explode. But that would be a good thing, right?

The Cyclones capped off a thrilling second half comeback with a dominating overtime performance. The Cowboys and Cyclones matched touchdowns in the first overtime but an Iowa State interception to start the second overtime gave them an opportunity to shock the nation.

Cyclones running back Jeff Woody carried the ball all 25 yards for the Cyclones on a couple of solid runs.

The Cyclones only needed a field goal for the upset but Woody wanted none of that. He's a real man, and real men score touchdowns.

He ran right through the Cowboys defense and into the end zone, and as a result the Iowa State fans and students rushed the field in celebration.

As the students celebrated the stadium speakers belted out Neil Diamond's classic song, Sweet Caroline

Not a song I would choose after the biggest win in school history, but a classic nonetheless.
