The Cornhuskers visit Ann Arbor, MI. for their first game in The Big House. Nebraska pits a solid rush offense that averages 232 yards per game, good enough for a No. 13 ranking.

That being said, the Cornhuskers hardly throw the ball nor do they have the ability anyway. On the year the Cornhuskers have averaged just 171 pass yards per game, ranking them No. 101 in the nation.

This comes as a big confidence booster to a Michigan defense that allows just 15.5 points per game. Add in the versatility of QB Denard Robinson who is better than Taylor Martinez, and the Wolverines should expect to win.

Currently both are ranked No. 16 (Nebraska) and No. 18 (Michigan) in the latest BCS standings and share a record of 8-2 overall (4-2 in conference), so this game is clearly holding some major conference implications provided that Michigan States loses one more time, if not twice.

We have to expect the Wolverines to win this game also. For starters, Michigan has yet to lose a home game this season (6-0) and the Cornhuskers have struggled on the road against ranked opponents (most notably Wisconsin).

All this being said however, if you bet on this game go with the Wolverines. Nebraska may be a solid team, but they’re more susceptible to inconsistency as Michigan is not. And with the game being played in the nation’s largest stadium, Michigan has that intangible advantage of the home crowd.

Take Michigan against the spread
