The hapless Kansas City Chiefs take bad luck and desperation to battle the New England Patriots. This may get ugly early.

The Chiefs are on a two-game slide and will need a miracle to see its end on Monday Night Football. The Patriots may still have defensive issues, but there is no way the Chiefs can keep up with the score they are about to put on the board.

Matt Cassel will sit this one out, making it a guarantee we are about to see a one-sided whooping for the Chiefs. At least there will be a lot of touchdowns.

Let's delve further into Monday night's clash.

Where: Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA

When: Monday, November 21st at 8:30 p.m. ET

Watch: ESPN

Spread: New England Patroits -15, according to Betonline.com

It is hard for an NFL team to rout another, especially when you have the Patriots defense. It will be a shade tighter than this.

Over/Under: 46.5, according to Betonline.com

No defense and a shoot-out means this will torch the over. I see this game going a little over the 50 mark, making it a great game for fans.

Key Injuries:

Chiefs: QB Matt Cassel, out (hand)

Patriots: CB Devin McCourty, doubtful (shoulder), LB Brandon Spikes, doubtful (knee), LB Dane Fletcher questionable (thumb)

Fantasy Big Plays:

Start Dwayne Bowe: Forget that Tyler Palko will be throwing him the ball and consider that a thin and soft Patriots secondary is covering him. Start him and enjoy what happens.

Start Wes Welker: Despite knee issues, Wes Welker should still play. That is all you should need to get him in your lineup.

Sit Steve Breaston: Palko can only do so much. Sit Breaston as Bowe gets all the love.

Keys to Chiefs Win: Just when you thought they were going to get rolling, they fall on hard times. They will need to find offense from Palko. He needs to simply be phenomenal to keep up with the pace Tom Brady will supply.

Keys to Patriots Win: Just don't screw up. There are a few games where the Patriots can forget their defensive issues and go out there and score their way to victory, and this is one of them. Barring turnovers, they should control this game start to finish.

Prediction: Patriots 34, Chiefs 20
