Which Coach Will Be Left Standing on New NBA Reality Show?

NBA Coaching Carousel enters its sixth week, and that meant the letting go of yet another coach this season. This time it was Philadelphia's Mo Cheeks who took the long walk down the arena tunnel of shame after not getting the golden clipboard from his GM.

The show has proven wildly popular with fans and even women, as David Stern's plan to turn the NBA into a reality show appears to be working.

"We wanted to increase excitement in the season," said Stern. "And I believe Coaching Carousel is doing just that, as people want to see who will be the last coach standing.

"Critics have said it's going to be hard later in the year firing coaches who have had great seasons, but I think that's going to be the fun part. When will Doc Rivers or Phil Jackson get canned? No one knows."

Cheeks' firing came as quite a surprise, as it seemed he had a lot of chemistry on last week's episode with Sixers GM Ed Stefanski. They first had a romantic date to a candlelit Italian restaurant, and then went for a moonlit walk on the beach. They even ended the night when Stefanski asked Cheeks to stay the night in his room.

It was believed Larry Brown would be the next to be voted off, after he would not even give Bobcats GM Rod Higgins a kiss on the cheek after their date.

"I'm just sad I put out on the date," said Cheeks. "I thought I would never do anything like that for a reality show or an NBA coaching job. But, I suppose the excitement of being on TV just became too much to handle."
