Could we possibly be looking at the worst team in NBA history? Currently, the Oklahoma City Thunder, formerly the Seattle Supersonics, are 2-24 this season and have shown little signs of improvement. However, some of their recent games have been close, but close games do not get you anything, a loss is a loss.

The Thunder have the second worst start in the first 26 games in NBA history, the only team with a worse start is the 1970-71 Cleveland Cavaliers who started 1-25. The Thunder is also on pace to finish with the same record as the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers, who finished with a miserable 9-73 record, the worst in NBA history.

The Oklahoma City Thunder could indeed finish with that record at this pace and go down as the worst team in NBA history.
