Some people are saying that this week has a boring slate of games, but with just three weeks left before the final BCS Rankings come out, every game matters.
There are three games between Top 25 opponents: No. 16 Nebraska travels to No. 18 Michigan, No. 5 Oklahoma goes to No. 22 Baylor and No. 13 Kansas State faces No. 23 Texas in Austin. Only Oklahoma is favored to win on the road. Southern Cal would be ranked by the BCS if they could be, and they face No. 4 Oregon.
Additionally, there are also plenty of chances for upsets by unranked teams, including SMU over No. 11 Houston, Ohio State beating No. 21 Penn State, Illinois against No. 17 Wisconsin and Virginia versus No. 21 Florida State.
While there are no Top 10 teams on serious upset alert, Iowa State has pulled some big upsets in the past and could catch Oklahoma State looking ahead to its game against Oklahoma, and North Carolina beat Virginia Tech two years ago in a Thursday night game.
