College Football Recruiting: Karl Malone Jr. Considering Top Programs

In my past article, I told you everything you needed to know about Karl Malone Jr. (KJ), a junior offensive lineman at Cedar Creek School in Ruston, La.

KJ, my cousin, continues to get better every week. His team is in the second round of the playoffs and he is on top of his game. A key 2013 recruit for any school in the nation, KJ will bring promise and a lot of talent to any school he goes to.

Right now, I'd say some of his top schools are Alabama, Oregon, LSU, Utah, Oklahoma and many others. We went to the LSU at Bama game and he loved what Alabama had to offer.

He still has a year to go in high school, but signing day will come fast and it's always fun to speculate where we think recruits will go.

KJ will start taking official trips this summer and next fall, so it should be a hectic but fun time for him. We all know he'll make the best choice for him when the time comes, but his goal right now is to win a state championship; if not this year, next year for sure.

I hope all of you enjoyed this article and my previous one as well.
