The UFC ring card girls have an important role in UFC events: they're there to gives us fans a break from having too much testosterone in a two-hour span.

Not only are we treated to at least five minutes of two athletes giving it their all in the Octagon, but we also get to see some of the most beautiful women in the world.

And while some fans will argue as to who's hot and who's not as far as ring girls go, these swimsuit models are certainly worthy of letting us know what round it is.

If you haven't seen the movie Hall Pass, shame on you. First off, it's a decent movie, and secondly, you're missing out on some Nicky Whelan.

Anne V has been featured in every SI Swimsuit magazine since 2005 and it's not hard to see why.

Fun fact: The V is short for Vyalitsyna. Yeah I'll just stick to Anne V too.

Esti Ginzburg started her modeling career at age four and has been on a roll ever since.

The Israeli-born model has been featured in a number of magazines including this years SI Swimsuit edition. But don't think this blond beauty is all looks.

In 2009 she was drafted into the Israeli army (IDF) and can definitely be considered armed and dangerously good looking.

If we want peace in the Middle East, get Ginzburg involved in negotiations.

9. Hilary Rhoda

Hilary Rhoda may be from Chevy Chase, Maryland, but I don't think her career is going to end in disaster any time soon.

Rhoda has appeared in the 2009, 2010 and 2011 SI Swimsuit editions. Keep your fingers crossed for 2012!

Vilayna LaSalle is of African-American, Brazilian and French decent. That must be a recipe for beautiful because as you can see, LaSalle has some of the most engaging eyes.

Oh yeah, and everything else is pretty OK too.

7. Diora Baird

Diora Baird is best known for her work with Guess? magazine.

She's also been a part of FHM, Playboy and Maxim magazine shoots as well. She landed at No. 76 on Maxim's Hot 100 for 2011 and it's no secret why.
