WWE: Have We Been Saved By Chris Jericho For The Last Time?

"Let me get something straight…I will never wrestle for the WWE again. But there is some big news coming up in the world of dance….”

This quote by Chris Jericho was the talk of the WWE Universe on Sunday, as fans of Jericho faced a major setback in the return of Y2J.

WWE Fans have been beckoning for Jericho's return ever since his departure in September of 2010. At the time, Jericho was calling his departure a "short break," but that break has now become anything but short.

Jericho has been spending time with his band, Fozzy, while also making a surprising appearance on "Dancing With The Stars." The quote by Jericho not only confirms that his dancing career is heating up, but that his wrestling career may be coming to an end.

This may just be an act from Chris Jericho, as he pulled similar stunts before his return in 2007. For those fans who fear Jericho may be jumping ship to TNA, don't worry; Jericho has stated many times that WWE is the only place for him.

But have we truly seen the last of Chris Jericho in WWE? Personally, Jericho is my favorite superstar to ever set foot in WWE, and it would be a shame to see him depart without a proper send-off.

If these are his actual feelings, they may have been caused by WWE's decision to not include him in the upcoming WWE '12 video game, a move that they have been criticised for, and rightfully so. Chris Jericho is a future Hall of Famer, a legend, and he doesn't deserve to be excluded from the video game.

I don't think anybody truly believes Jericho will never eeeeeeeeever wrestle for WWE again, but when and for how long are certainly in question. All we can do is hope that this is just Jericho being Jericho, and when we least expect it, his music will hit.

WWE needs to be saved by Y2J once again, and the sooner Vince McMahon realizes it, the better.
