The Houston Texans travel to Tampa Bay today to take on the Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium.

The Texans, sitting at 6-3, are in first place in the AFC South. Led by Matt Schaub, their high-octane offense has been able to withstand minor injuries to Arian Foster and Andre Johnson and remain a top-five offense.

More surprisingly, the Texans long-maligned defense has stepped forward with the addition of Wade Phillips and become one of the league's best.

The Buccaneers, at 4-4, haven't been nearly as successful. Josh Freeman, long thought of as one of the best young QBs in the league, has had long stretches of sub-par play and hasn't gotten enough help from the young talent surrounding him.

The defense hasn't been as stout as advertised thanks to injuries to Gerald McCoy among others.

Stay tuned as I live blog all of the day's scores, top videos and provide analysis.
