The Tennessee Titans visited the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium this afternoon. Both teams entered the game coming off of a loss and were looking to get back in the win column.

The Panthers were unable to get anything going on offense throughout the afternoon as the Titans' defense was stout. Cam Newton came into the game with impressive numbers, but was under duress through much of the game. He was held out of the end zone for the first time this season along with the Panthers as a whole.

Chris Johnson reclaimed his mojo as he ran for a season-high 130 yards. It was the second 100-yard game of the season for him.

The Titans got off to a great start when Marc Mariani returned a Jason Baker punt to the house to gain an early 7-0 lead. On their ensuing possession Matt Hasselbeck found Damian Williams for a 43-yard touchdown, which sucked the life out of the Panthers.

Next up for Carolina is a road game against Detroit. Tennessee will also take to the road as the Titans will square off with Atlanta.

Final score: Titans 30, Panthers 3
