Tennessee Titans vs. Carolina Panthers: Live Score, Video and Analysis
The Panthers were unable to get anything going on offense throughout the afternoon as the Titans' defense was stout. Cam Newton came into the game with impressive numbers, but was under duress through much of the game. He was held out of the end zone for the first time this season along with the Panthers as a whole.
Chris Johnson reclaimed his mojo as he ran for a season-high 130 yards. It was the second 100-yard game of the season for him.
The Titans got off to a great start when Marc Mariani returned a Jason Baker punt to the house to gain an early 7-0 lead. On their ensuing possession Matt Hasselbeck found Damian Williams for a 43-yard touchdown, which sucked the life out of the Panthers.
Final score: Titans 30, Panthers 3

That's going to wrap up my coverage everyone. I hope you all have a much more entertaining day than this game was!
Although I do feel that there's no reason for the franchise quarterback to be taking snaps down 30-3 with nothing to gain.
Announcers bring up Cam's shoulder as a possible reason for poor performance. Not buying it at all. He wouldn't be in the game if he was hurt.
Fantasy owners will be happy with the garbage time touchdown that Johnson just picked up.
Hasselbeck showing his wheels on a nice play fake!
Heck of a catch from Williams near the sidelines to pick up the first.
It hasn't been one of Newton's better days by any means, but to be fair he hasn't had a lot of time to throw and Olsen's fumble sacked the life out of the offense.
Johnson's numbers are going to look good at the end of the day but it's important to note that much of it has come late in the game. Still don't see the electrifying player we saw two years ago.
This one is pretty much over, folks.
Newton fires to Naanee and it goes off his hands and into Chris Hope's.
With a 20 point lead, the Titans have loosened up their coverage a bit and the Panthers are moving the ball.
The Titans are a hit or miss team but today they have shown up. Hard not to be impressed with what they've done to the Carolina's offense.
Bironas tacks on another three points for the Titans.
Panthers' defense is starting to tire.
Johnson starting to pick up yards in chunks.
Finally, Johnson, hits a hole with a purpose.
Fourth quarter is underway after another one-yard gain by Johnson.
Goes without saying that the Titans have come up with a game plan that other teams will try to replicate going forward when it comes to stopping Newton.
Bironas sinks a 36-yard field goal to give the Titans a 20-3 lead.
The effort just doesn't seem to be there from Johnson. He seems like he would rather be elsewhere.
Tennessee hasn't attempted to stretch out the Carolina defense today, but they did there and it worked.
Hasselbeck to Williams for 40 yards. Terrific throw by Hasselbeck.
It's important to note that the Titans' offense has done nothing since the first quarter.
It has looked like a couple times today Newton could have fought for extra yardage but got down in a hurry. You know coaches drill into his head to get down when he's running, yet in that spot I thought he should have used his size to try and pick up the extra two yards.
