I am beginning to wonder: why does a team as deep as the Ottawa Senators play so inconsistantly?
Sure, I know Heater and Alfie were injured, but still, the remaining lineup should have been able to give the AHL-staffed Maple Leaf squad a game and beat them—but we lost 4-2.
Then we beat Florida 4-3 and destroyed Montreal in five minutes, but then we come against a Buffalo Sabres team that does not compare to the teams we just beat and we lose 5-1.
What the hell, guys?
I guess we will be watching Gerber in net next game against Jersey. We all know it's "win, you're in," but shouldn't it be. Hey coach, keep Em's in, we have more confidence in his abilities than the others.
