Antonio Brown @ Bengals
One of my favorite sleepers coming into the season, Antonio Brown appears to be ready for a strong second half of the season. With two hundred-yard performances and at least five receptions in his last three games, Brown is clearly Ben Roethlisberger’s No.2 receiver at this time.
Both Hines Ward and Emmanuel Sanders have had their health issues in recent weeks, but their departure from the offense should give us a bird's eye view of what the future will hold for Brown down the stretch and for years to come.
Look to Brown as a solid WR-2 play as the Steelers are throwing the football to win games and Brown will continue to be an active part of his offense weekly.
Denarius Moore @ Chargers
While Darrius Heyward-Bey seems to have fallen out of favor in Oakland with new quarterback Carson Palmer, Denarius Moore continues to start and played a solid game against the Chargers. Moore is clearly still getting his timing down with Palmer—the two weren’t on the same page on the first series of the game, as Moore cut his route off and Palmer threw it down the field, thinking he was going deep.
Still, as long as Moore is on the field, he has some value with Palmer under center and the Raiders playing without star running back Darren McFadden. Look to Moore as a WR-3 play this week as the Chargers have struggled in the secondary of late.
