Vitali Klitschko to Face David Haye In June?

EJ ClaudioCorrespondent IDecember 14, 2008

In a recent interview, David Haye said that his camp and Vitali Klitschko's camp has agreed to fight sometime in June.

Haye said "We sat down and talked numbers that made sense for both sides and it's done and dusted."

A lot of fans expected that David Haye will be going after his younger brother, Wladimir. However, Haye surprised a lot of critics by choosing the tougher and meaner Vitali.

I personally think that The Hayemaker is biting more than he can chew here. I was really hoping he would take one more fight probably against Chris Arreola or Samuel Peter. A fight that he would benefit from so that he can get used to the division.

Haye also said "I am going after the most dangerous fighter on the planet."

And for that, I admire David Haye for taking this fight, if it materializes, because he is indeed taking on a brutal champion. Vitali Klitschko is no Monte Barret. Haye will be tested if this fight happens. However, I don't see Haye winning in this match.
