He Finally Did It: Jeff Hardy Wins the WWE Championship!

'Rowdy' Ross RutherfordSenior Analyst IDecember 14, 2008

After a year of losing out to three different champions, Jeff Hardy finally won a world title at Armageddon.

Ever since January of this year, I thought Jeff Hardy would be a champion and it turns out that 2008 was Jeff Hardy's year.

Now that he has won the title the real battle begins. Can Hardy stay on top? Can Hardy stay healthy? Can Hardy stay "clean"? These will be questions that we will see answered in the next few months.

I have been a strong supporter of Hardy's since the beginning. I knew that Hardy would win the big one sooner or later, there was just no telling where.

He beat the returned Edge and his long time rival Triple H in a Triple Threat Match to finally make his lifelong dream a reality.

I just hope they keep the title on him for a while. It would be good for Smackdown and good for the company.

I'm sure there are a lot of happy fans out there, and I'm one of them. Congratulations, Mr. Hardy.

(I would elaborate more, but I have exams in the morning)
