The Oakland Raiders have many questions that must be addressed before Thursday night's AFC West bash of Super Powers against the San Diego Chargers. I've compiled a list of three that Hue Jackson must address ASAP.
Is it the defense? The turnovers? Or is it playing time?
Will McFadden be back in time? Is the locker room divided? Is Kevin Boss no longer needed?
On Sunday afternoon, the Oakland Raiders targeted T. J. Houshmandzadeh four times and DHB one time. Do you buy this?
Buy or Sale: Sale. DHB is the Raiders leader in receptions and reception yards. TJ is a comfort toy for newly acquired quarterback Carson Palmer.
TJ is 34 years old and in the decline of his career. DHB is blossoming, but based on his display after being sidelined, DHB is frustrated and feels that he was sidelined because of the Hue Jackson/ Carson Palmer buddy system in Oakland.
DHB has the upside and has earned his position. TJ walked on board and four days later he has what DHB worked hard for.
Situations like this can divide a locker room. Hue Jackson must take a stand now!
On Sunday, Carson Palmer attempted more passes than Bush and Jones had carry attempts. Buy or Sell?
Buy or Sale: Sell. Bush is averaging over five yards a carry with no turnovers in two games. Palmer has six turnovers in the last six quarters. I say give the ball to Bush. And Taiwan Jones got fewer targets than T. J. Houshmandzadeh, really?
Sell. Chuck would be hard pressed to have a dominate defense at the Pee Wee level unless he instituted Spygate 2.
The Raiders Defensive Coordinator position should be posted on Monster.com by 5 P.M. Eastern Time.
