Finally, fantasy owners get a break from bye weeks in Week 10.
But that does not mean owners can neglect the waiver wire this week. There are injuries to deal with and a few more byes on the horizon in Week 11. Some decent options this week for struggling owners:
Andy Dalton, Bengals [217-3]
Conservative, but effective. Great spot starter.
Carson Palmer, Raiders [332-3-3]
Forget the three picks, focus on the first two numbers (332 yards, three TDs).
Ben Tate, Texans [12-115-1]
Could be floating around out there on someone’s waiver wire, worth a spot on your bench. Can be productive even with Arian Foster tearing it up.
Donald Brown, Colts [16-70; 1-1]
Indy is going to play from behind every week, so Brown is the most start-able RB on this team. Sorry, Delone Carter owners.
Roy Helu, Redskins [10-41; 14-105]
PPR monster. Mike Shanahan could give the rock to someone else next week, but these numbers are hard to ignore.
Laurent Robinson, Cowboys [5-32-1]
Miles Austin went down again, so Robinson gets to step back into the starting lineup.
Steve Breaston, Chiefs [7-115]
Quietly getting it done as KC’s No. 2 receiver. The Chiefs are going to play from behind more often than not.
Jacoby Ford, Raiders [5-105-1]
Healthy again, Ford made a degree-of-difficulty TD catch on Sunday. Best WR on this team, good to see he has chemistry with Carson Palmer.
Jake Ballard, Giants [4-67-1]
Last call for Jake Ballard. Dude should be owned in almost all formats after this weekend.
Good luck on the wire this week!
