WWE: Top Ten Things That Need to Happen Before the End of 2011
2011 has been a great year for the WWE as a whole. The WWE has shown signs of new life as superstars are finally connecting with fans. We have seen some great turns, some excellent feuds, and some quality match ups.
Today, I am going to list 10 things that should happen before the end of 2011. This list is based on the current WWE product.
Number 10: Dolph Ziggler Gets Elevated to the Main Event
The reason this doesn't have a better spot on the list is because it probably won't happen until 2012.
With that being said, I still wish that they would do something with Dolph Ziggler before the end of 2011 because it is only a matter of time before he loses the U.S. title to Zack Ryder.
The best thing for him now is to lose in his rematch and then move on to a high profile feud.
Number 9: Alberto Del Rio Stops Acting Cowardly
Anytime the WWE has the opportunity to make a decent main event, he turns into nothing but a coward that has his lackeys do all the work.
How many times has Ricardo Rodriguez been beaten up? Oh, I have an even better question. How is he still alive?
With all joking aside, the best heels get serious at some point and put up a fight.
No more running Alberto, if you want to be in the main event, you have to fight for it.
Number 8: Kofi Kingston Is Not Penalized
Kofi Kingston has had one of the best careers of any superstar currently in the WWE. The only difference with him and everyone else is he has been restricted to the mid-card. As you all should know by now, Evan Bourne has been suspended for 30 days after a wellness policy violation.
Kingston should not be penalized for mistakes made by Evan Bourne.
WWE creative needs to do one of two things: Give him a push in singles competition, or let him keep the tag team titles.
Number 7: Daniel Bryan Is in More Main Event Matches
Daniel Bryan should have been elevated to the upper mid card after his MITB win. For some reason though, he has been hanging in the lower mid-card for the past couple of months.
Daniel Bryan should be in the main events getting victories over top contenders. If WWE wants to build their future around him, they need to step up their game.
Number 6: The Mark Henry/Big Show Feud Ends
Their match at Vengeance stole the show. With that being said, I feel that they should pull off one final match to conclude the feud. Because of their size and mobility in the ring, they slow down quickly and it can get quite boring.
After a great match where Henry retains, we should see someone come out to challenge him. That somebody is...
Number 5: Kane Returns to Feud with Mark Henry
Kane is expected to come back anytime from his hiatus from WWE TV. What better feud to enter him in then against the man who put him on the shelf?
Expect Kane to come back with a vengeance.
Number 4: Zack Ryder Captures the United States Championship
Zack Ryder has had a very interesting career thus far.
I give this man a lot of credit for getting his name out there and connecting to the WWE Universe. Now, his merchandise sells out, he is promoted on RAW every week and fans chant his name.
Some impact right?
Zack Ryder deserves the U.S. Title.
Number 3: Cody Rhodes Defeats Randy Orton Clean on PPV
Cody Rhodes is one feud away from being in the main event. The only problem is there is only one man he can face to get into the main event. That man's name is Randy Orton.
Because Sheamus, Daniel Bryan and Sin Cara are not big enough stars yet, Randy Orton is the only baby face on Smackdown that can elevate Cody Rhodes without losing momentum.
Randy Orton doesn't need to win but, Cody Rhodes does.
Number 2: Awesome Truth Gets Pushed Passed Survivor Series
If Cena and The Rock manage to defeat Awesome Truth at Survivor Series, I will riot.
My reason for this is there is 1,000 angles the WWE can do that doesn't result in Awesome Truth losing momentum.
Awesome Truth has been pushed to perfection up until this week on RAW. WWE creative has a lot of work cut out for them if they want to save this angle.
Number 1: John Cena and Rock Feud Is Furthered
What is quickly becoming one of the biggest matches for 2012, The Rock vs. John Cena are preparing to tear the house down against each other.
Before that though, we need to see the tension between these two increase on television. Their feud has been booked to perfection starting earlier this year. Now, they need to add some gasoline to the fire.
