Who Should Hatton Fight Next? How About Judah

There are a lot of different options for this Ricky Hatton right now. We have all thought about him fighting Pacman next. While it’s a good fight, and I think it would be very competitive, I personally want to see Pacman fight Floyd. So, where would this leave Hatton? Well, I would have him fight Zab Judah.

Of course Zab is no longer in his prime. He has lost that lightning; that spark that made him super fast. His hand speed is still there, but stamina and footwork are not. Regardless, I think that it would be a decent fight. I think that it would provide us fans with action.

I think that for the first half of the fight, Judah, with proper training, can outclass Hatton, and possibly do to him what Mayweather was able to do. Zab is pretty fast and accurate. If the fight gets into the later rounds, then I think Zab will be in trouble. I believe that Hatton can go all 12 rounds toe to toe with Zab, and that is something Judah needs to avoid.

Hatton on the other hand, is very aggressive. He will keep coming, and will be able to put Judah in very difficult situations. I don’t think that Judah can fight backwards, and that’s what Hatton would need to do in order to stifle Zab’s game plan.

The fight would also be good to test the fighters. The winner could then potentially challenge Pacman, or even Mayweather. Even though Hatton lost to Floyd, I thought he did okay against him. I would watch a rematch of that fight. And, of course, fighting Manny is also a very exciting and interesting thought.
