And the Oscar Goes To...Pro-Wrestling's Best of 2008

As many of you have seen, the awards season is upon us. And with that said, most of the sports sections have been handing out awards, even the wrestling section.

Now the Oscars go well with the wrestling world. Seeing as most of the wrestling world is acted out.

But I thought I'd give a fresh taste in my awards, making it Oscar style. Now there are many awards to give out so lets get started.

Here are the Oscars for the best of Pro-wrestling 2008

The Best Actor in a Mini-Storyline

This is The best actor in a mini-storyline. If you are not sure what that is in the wrestling world. It is the award that goes to the person that was the best in a short storyline.

There were many to consider but the winner of the best actor in a mini-storyline is Rey Mysterio for the Rey Mysterio/Kane fued.

Best Actress in a Mini-Storyline

As the last award was this goes to the best person who was in a mini-storyline. This time it is the best actress.

And the Oscar goes to Michelle McCool for the Michelle McCool/ Natalya storyline.

Best Comedic Actor of the Year

Again this may be another award many may be unaware of. This goes to funniest of 2008 in the wrestling world.

This person must show that they struely have no brain and really get themselves into trouble unneeded. They must be fluent in all their comedic glory.

And we could not find that guy, so we went with... Santino Marella

Santino could not be here tonight because he is still icing his crotch aftter a ring entrance incident, so here to claim his award is Goldust.

Best Actor in a Full-Length Storyline

The best actor in a full-length storyline is a person who is in a complete storyline that goes on for a least five or more months.

The award goes to the person who does the best in the storyline they are in. And the Oscar goes to... Micheals for the Micheals/Jericho feud.

Best Actress in a Full-Length Storyline

And once again this is an award that goes to the person who has a long storyline and does the best in it. A woman's storyline rarely lasts longer than a few months.

But the only one that has lasted longer is the winner. And the best in it was the winner. The Oscar goes to Gail Kim for the Kim/Kong storyline

Best Hair for a Woman and Male in a Wrestling Storyline

This is a double award given to the man and woman who have the best hair throughout any storyline they have been in over the past year.

The Woman winner is...Candice Michelle

And the Man is...John Morrison

Best Supporting Actor

This is the person who is not really in the actual storyline but plays a good role in it.

Oscar goes to...Evan Bourne for the Rey Mysterio/Kane storyline.

Best Supporting Actress

This again goes to the person who is in a storyline but is not the main person in it. Yet plays a significant role in the storyline they are apart of

The Oscar goes to...Melina for the Mickie James/Beth Phoenix storyline

Melina could not be here tonight because she is currently on set filming a movie. So Linda McMahon will receive it for her.

Storyline of the Year

This goes to the storyline that was the best of the year throughout wrestling this past year. It is the one that people will never forget and will always revert back to when thinking of other storylines.

There were many great candidates but the winner and Oscar goes to...

HBK/Y2J storyline.

Shawn Michaels is receiving.

Best Wrestler of the Year

This goes to the person who did the best the entire year in wrestling. It is the person who not only won a title or two, but got fans to get in the seats.

It goes to the person who is the best of 2008, and that person is...Triple H

Best Diva of The Year

This Oscar goes to the woman who has done the best in 2008, it goes to the one diva who did not falter and was a hit night in and night out.

And The Oscar goes to...Michelle McCool
