First of all this is my first article so please be kind when commenting ill get better with time.

After watching raw this Ive been thinking to myself did Chris Jericho deserve superstar of the year? Now i understand that the slammys were not voted on by the fans and were used to highlight certain superstars and push particular storylines but for arguments sake if the slammys were voted for by the fans surely Jeff Hardy would have won? He is without a doubt the most over superstar in the wwe at the moment and i am one of many that believe he should be wwe champion (but that's another story) but my opinion is that superstar of the year should have gone to a man not even nominated - Randy Orton, yes he missed aound 3/4 months with injury however his wwe title reign in the early year was very convincing with clean wins over Jeff Hardy, HHH and John Cena, he won cleanly in the main-event at wrestlemania too and is only the 2nd heel to do that the other being the favourite son-in-law, after that he had a good fued with HHH which of course we all know lead resulted in the broken collarbone, but when he returned around unforgiven, despite not bein in the ring, his promos were fantastic and he helped keep raw from going under during the drole title run of cm punk and then since his in-ring return he has been great in the ring hopefully this will culminate by him beating Batista at armaggedon proving that he was the crown jewel of evolution, hes the best heel at the moment and giving superstar of the year would have fitted perfectly with his character.

What does anybody else think? and any tips or pointers about the article are welcome as long they dont get to abusive
