Panter appeared in just seven games and coincidentally had just seven tackles including one for a loss. Not really sure what really happened with him.
He became the first Michigan JUCO transfer in like, forever, so hopefully the guy is smart enough to weasel his way into a decent job.
Mike Massey
Pat Massey's brother didn't live up the family name to say the least. Mike was a four star tight end prospect who only has two touchdowns in his career.
He could of had another this year against Northwestern but somehow he inexplicably pulled down his hands. I'll never let him live that down.
Some will say that Mike suffered a lot of injuries but I say 20 catches for 161 yards is the work of a career back up tight end who was never good enough to crack the starting lineup.
He might be Shakir Edwards boss at the telemarketing firm.
John Thompson
Detroit native who could be considered as an over achiever as a three star linebacker out of Crockett Technical.
Under Carr he only came in for spot duty, but this year he got a lot of starts and his 53 tackles in 2008 came one short of tying his career mark of 54 before the season started.
Had a Prescott Burgess moment in in the Wisconsin game where he returned an interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Thompson could be a hard enough worker to be a main stay on an NFL practice squad after toiling for a couple years in the Arena League.
Charles Stewart
Sometimes, this four star defensive back and the pride of Farmington Hills Harrison, caused the worst headaches in the world.
Stewart consistently got beat on deep coverage and big plays, sometimes it wasn't his fault, but most times it really was.
He has 80 career tackles, six pass breakups and just one interception coming this season. Maybe the Lions will pick him up, he's their kind of player after all. But I have a feeling the CFL is the best fit for him, there's more field for him to screw up on.
K.C. Lopata
Well I can't mention one Farmington native with out following with the other, especially when I have so much disdain for both of them.
Career 21-for-27 field goals and 55 PATs for Lopata doesn't even begin to describe the heartbreak some of his misses caused. Getting blocked against Appalachian State and missing from 26 yards against Toledo account for the two worst losses in Michigan history.
His physical education degree hopefully carries him to some small high school gym class teacher in the depths of hell otherwise known as Ohio.
Brandon Harrison
Thought he would have a promising career after his freshman campaign but Harrison just sort of had a meh career and while his mistakes aren't as glaring as Stewart, he still made quite a few.
Harrison just didn't read very well off the snap and got beat at the line of scrimmage far too often. Still his career numbers aren't terrible; 165 tackles, 16.5 for loss, 6.5 sacks, 12 pass breakups, three interceptions and four fumble recoveries.
While an NFL career is never gonna happen for this guy, maybe he does good in the Arena League but I see him more likely chasing after criminals as a bail bondsmen.
