New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils Battle at The Rock On Friday

Cj ReoContributor IDecember 11, 2008

For the second time this season the boys in blue square off in New Jersey with the Devils, who currently sit fourth in the Atlantic Division.

Last time these two teams met the Rangers lead a four goal, second period assault and won the game 5-2 against ex-Rangers goaltender Kevin Weekes.

There is more on the line this time, as the Devils desperately need points, having only 32 so far. The Rangers with 42, have a safety net due to the loss of New Jersey's starting netminder Martin Brodeur.

The Rangers are coming off an overtime win against Atlanta, while the Devils are coming off a win vs the Penguins. It will be an all out war on Friday as Lundqvist and the Rangers face off against Parise and the Devils

Cj's Prediction: Rangers 4 Devils 1

Game MVP: Henrik Lundqvist (27-28)
