Gene Snitsky, the monstrous wrestler who debuted as Kane's advesary in the "Lita Miscarriage" storyline, has been released by World Wrestling Entertainment.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has Snitsky called up from the developmental system when looking for new talents to rise to the top of the promotion.

This appears to be another cost-cutting move by WWE as the economy takes its toll on all forms of entertainment and the stocks of the companies in the entertainment industry.
