Down Go the Mighty North Carolina Central Eagles

Razorback ExpatsSenior Analyst IMarch 29, 2016

I imagine car horns must be blaring and church bells ringing in Arkansas tonight. How else should you celebrate such a big victory?

In case you haven’t heard, the Razorbacks just defeated the North Carolina Central Eagles, the proud owners of a 0-9 record heading into tonight’s contest, 98-70.

Michael Washington, Courtney Fortson, Michael Sanchez, and Rotnei Clarke all had good games—but really, it’s hard to glean too much when the opponent is so weak.

These are definitely the dog days of the non-conference schedule. Let’s hope we’re not longing for them once the conference season starts.

If anyone saw the game, please add your observations in the comments thread.
