It wasn't long ago that the name BiBi Jones was a fairly anonymous one. Following the adult-film star's infamous photo with New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, however, Jones has become a household name, particularly among sports fans.
Jones supposedly took the photos and posted them on her Twitter page in order to help Gronkowski get more followers. The more likely reason, however, is that Jones was starved for mainstream attention and figured a scandalous photo would help her get it.
There was nothing inherently wrong with the photo, as it simply featured Jones wearing Gronkowski's jersey, but it has put Gronkowski in an awkward position, as the media tends to blow things out of proportion.
I think that Jones knew full well what type of buzz the picture would cause, and if that is the case, then you have to give her credit for getting the hype machine rolling. She hasn't hesitated to talk to the media either, as a Business Insider report now links her to Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla and at least 10 more of agent Terry Bross' clients.
One would have to believe that Jones has been waiting to divulge that information for quite some time, but she hasn't had the opportunity. Taking a racy photo with Gronkowski opened the door a crack for her, and she kicked it wide open by admitting to sleeping with many of Bross' clients.
Gronkowski, Uggla and any other athlete has the right to do whatever they want provided they aren't married. Whether they're involved with a porn star like Jones or just a normal woman, it really shouldn't be the business of the general public.
It inevitably will be, however, because everybody wants to know about the sex lives of professional athletes. Gronkowski supposedly didn't even sleep with Jones, but the media has made a huge deal out of their photo anyway.
If certain athletes are going to be embarrassed by their sexual endeavors being exposed, then it wouldn't be wise to get involved with Jones. She seems to be shameless and willing to tell all provided she gets the publicity that she obviously craves.
I don't want to bring her morals into question because I don't know her personally, but I don't think she cares whose reputation she damages, as long as it is good for her own exposure in the long run.
