Last night's World Series game six may have been the single most exciting world series game I've ever witnessed. The Cardinals were down to their last strike (twice), down two runs after the seventh inning (twice), and yet they prevailed on a walk-off shot to center by David Freese in the 11th inning to send this baby to a game seven.
Honestly, I'm rooting for the Rangers as I think it will help make my San Francisco Giants look better to have beat a legitimate team last season. But last night I was rooting for the Cardinals. Who doesn't want to see a game seven in the world series?
We haven't seen a game seven in the world series since 2002 when the Anaheim Angels beat the San Francisco Giants. This is rare. We should cherish tonight's game seven.
For now, take a second and watch the instant-classic highlights from last night's epic game six.
