FT: Chelsea 3-5
- A game which defined both team's fragile defence.
- Chelsea manager André Villas-Boas made a stupid substitution when he took off Daniel Sturridge who was getting past André Santos left, right and centre. Florent Malouda came on and hardly did anything except play in that horrible back pass which was compounded by John Terry tripping over himself.
- Man of the match: Robin van Persie. Why can he carry Arsenal's attack whereas Fernando Torres can't?
- Worse player of the match: André Santos. He would have gotten an F if not for his improved second half performance. I'd say C- considering he made that great run past José Bosingwa, who was in la la land. Though Villas-Boas did Santos the best thing possible by making Sturridge sit on the bench.
- Chelsea really need to sort out this defence.
94'- That really sums up Fernando Torres game. From half way, I think he was attempting to pass the ball, lobs it straight to Wojciech Szczęsny.
93'- Well I won't be forgetting this game anytime soon.
91'- GOAL!!! Chelsea 3-5 Arsenal
Anyone want to trade Fernando Torres for Robin van Persie?
The commentator is like run the ball to the corner flag, van Persie takes the ball past José Bosingwa and rifles it past Petr Čech.
90'- Foul by Alex Song who has been given a yellow card. Four minutes of stoppage time.
90'- André Santos has had a very good second half. I blame Chelsea manager André Villas-Boas for not keeping Daniel Sturridge on.
88'- Arsenal Substitution OFF: Gervinho ON: Thomas Vermaelen
87- Do some of the Chelsea players think Romelu Lukaku is Usain Bolt? What is so hard about playing him a simple ball. Four times now they've played in through balls and four times Arsenal have mopped up.
84'- GOAL!!! Chelsea 3-4 Arsenal
Florent Malouda has been pretty dire so far. Plays a poor back pass, John Terry trips over his own feet, Robin van Persie takes the ball past Petr Čech and scores.
What a great game.
84'- Chelsea need to play the ball to Romelu Lukaku's feet instead of playing him Hail Mary like through balls.
82'- Chelsea manager André Villas-Boas's celebration is just awesome. Erupts like a volcano.
80'- GOAL!!! Chelsea 3-3 Arsenal
What a peach of a goal from Juan Mata. Who gave the ball away? André Santos.
78'- Yellow cards to both Branislav Ivanović and Robin van Persie in a hand bags like incident. Shameful acting from Ivanović who collapses to the floor off an innocuous shove from the Dutchman.
OFF: Tomáš Rosický ON: Thomas Vermaelen
76'- André Santos tackles Romelu Lukaku who attempted to beat him off the dribble. The young Belgian should use his pace.
75'- Arsenal Substitution
OFF: Johan Djourou ON: Carl Jenkinson
I don't rate Jenkinson. He's not a good defender. Though let's see how he goes.
OFF: John Obi Mikel ON: Raul Meireles
Again, great decision from Chelsea manager André Villas-Boas.
73'- Arsenal cutting apart Chelsea's defence. Ashley Cole is dragged all over the place by Robin van Persie and the Dutchman provides a delicate pass to Aaron Ramsey, but the Welshman's shot is deflected away.
72'- Chelsea Substitution
OFF: Ramires ON: Romelu Lukaku
Excellent decision. Bold, brave and Lukaku gets a chance. Not to mention, he will help Fernando Torres who aside from the first 10 minutes of the game has been pretty anonymous.
71'- André Santos wins the ball from José Bosingwa.
70'- For the life of me, I cannot understand why Daniel Sturridge was subbed off.
69'- Fernando Torres gets past André Santos and lays it up to Florent Malouda who trips over the ball.
67'- Fernando Torres is blocked by Laurent Koscielny but the linesman doesn't call it. Torres stops and Koscielny boots the ball into the Spaniard. I don't think Torres has made a successful dribble yet.
66'- Great tackle from Ramires to win the ball away from Aaron Ramsey.
65'- Florent Malouda's first touch and he loses the ball.
63'- Chelsea really need to up the anti. Hardly any incisive passing.
61'- Chelsea Substitution
OFF: Daniel Sturridge ON: Florent Malouda
Bizarre...Sturridge has reaped so much joy from André Santos. Let's see what Malouda can do.
