Some say Matt Ryan is the best rookie quarterback ever. He already moved into second place on the all time most passing yards for a rookie eclipsing Chris Weinke from Carolina in 2001 who gained 2,931 yards. Will He pass Manning's mark of over 3,700? That will be a tough call.
Matt Ryan has a led a team who has dealt with problems from their past quarterback Michael Vick and his run in with the law. Ryan has led the Falcons to eight victories and only five loses.
Joe Flacco has mastered to gain 2410 which isn't bad at all. It may not be as good as Ryan's total yardage, but is still remarkable. He has led the Ravens to nine wins and four loses, which is one win more than Ryan.
They have played all the games for their teams this year and both have done a fantastic job. Yet tally these statistics.
*Flacco has 13 touchdowns and ten interceptions
* Ryan has 14 touchdowns and 7 interceptions
* Ryan has a 62.0 completion percent and a 92.0 quarterback rating
*Flacco has a 60.2 completion percent and a 81.3 quarterback rating
Do all the stats add up? Are they both just as good or is one really better than the other? Who will go father in the playoffs? I guess we will have to wait to find out.
