B/R's Search For The Greatest Running Back In NFL History

David ArreolaSenior Analyst IDecember 9, 2008

My friends, the time has come again.

About a month ago I gathered lists from all over the nation to determine the top ten NFL quarterbacks of all-time.

I don't think I need to say it, but it got lots of heat from people who disagreed with the list. Many people felt someone was too high or too low. Obviously this is an issue when making a top ten list of anything.

So B/R, this is your opportunity to have your voice heard. I will be commencing the hunt for the greatest running back of all-time. The system will be the same used to determine the greatest quarterback.

You can view the point system at the end of this article.

How do I get involved?

It is very simple. You sign up by commenting on this article. I will leave a note on your profile with my e-mail address. You email me your Top 10 Running Backs in NFL History and I tally the points. Quite simple really.

My humble request

Be as neutral as possible. Consider everything, stats, Super Bowl wins, skills, the teams they played on, the players they had around them, their opponents, the era, EVERYTHING. I only want serious lists. Be as unbiased as possible.

In closing....

There is no cutoff number. I will take 10 lists, or 100 (please no...). They are all the same and will all be counted.

Read up on everything that is the NFL running back!

Thank you all for participating!

As promised here is the points system that will be used. It is simple, the higher you rank a running back, the more points he receives.

5-    6 points
