QB Colt McCoy will stay at the UT to finish out his senior year. McCoy has led No. 3 Texas (11-1) to a Fiesta Bowl matchup against Ohio State with 3,445 yards passing and 32 touchdowns, both team records. He’s also the team’s leading rusher with 576 yards and is expected to be a finalist for the Heisman Trophy this week.

Colt will do fine his senior year provided he stays healthy and does not get into any trouble. We have seen many players from the UT that have gotten into trouble entering the NFL after their senior year, for the likes of Cedric Benson. So hopefully this young man can learn from these other players that are in the NFL and not follow their footsteps.
