Here's a brief story of our trip to the city of Charlotte earlier today. We departed Richmond, Va. around 9:30 and did not stop until we found a Bojangles right off interstate 85. As I always do, I ordered the Cajun Chicken biscuit and a sweet tea, which is very delicious.
We arrived in Charlotte at the La Quinta around 3 p.m. and after getting settled in, we bundled up, and made our way to our favorite eatery called Mama Ricotta's. Not only is this continually rated one of the top restuarants in Uptown, but the prices blow me away by how cheap they are. We ordered a pizza, fresh mozzarella and vine riped tomatoes, and got incredible rolls with chili oil.
Our waiter must have loved us, because after we paid our checks....combined $20 for all of this, he brought out a huge slice of Nutella pie on the house....phenomenal! I recommend this place to anyone and will return the next time I am in Uptown Charlotte.
We were stuffed and we found out a place to get parking for cheap, and were down for that idea.
We then found $10 parking in a deck...sweet. It was then time to head to Bank of America Stadium!
Next up is the third installment of the Charlotte Chronicles.....the game!
