For those of you depending on Bradford as your starting QB,I hope you have a nice RB or WR to compensate for his relative lack of production this year. However, you've likely been watching to see how things have been going with his ankle. Well that's not good, to say the least.

Sam Bradford will not start versus the Cowboys today; instead, A.J. Feely will try to lead the Rams to their first victory of the season. Very bad news for the Rams, worse news for fantasy owners.

As someone who is an owner of Bradford, I was a bit more prepared and got Painter on the waiver wire for free and he produced solid results. However, Painter may be gone in some or most leagues thanks to his sudden upstart performance.

Good news for you, though! Sam Bradford's backup can be grabbed really quickly and plugged in to give you a quick cheap win-win scenario. If he does good, he'll help you win this week. If he does bad, well, Bradford's only going to be out a week—hopefully.

Don't feel like this perennial backup won't have a good day for you either. Feely has shown in the past that he can be a competent QB and can get some good stats and lead teams down the field for a score. He may not be a world beater, but he can get the job done.

However, don't get too much confidence in him; he is a backup after all. Luckily, the Rams do have Steven Jackson to help him. Maybe if a few other key players can step up and help him out, the Rams (and Feely) can pull this one out.
