Fox Apologizes For Broadcasting Naked Viking

The Fox network is apologizing for showing Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe naked in the locker room after Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. According to the “Minneapolis Star Tribune,” Fox camera crews were in the Minnesota locker room to capture owner Zygi Wilf giving the game ball to coach Brad Childress’ 19-year-old son, who is joining the Marine Corps on Monday. Unfortunately, the presentation wasn’t all that was captured.

Shiancoe was standing behind Wilf with a towel covering part of his body, but not all the right parts. Fox Sports vice president of communications Dan Bell expressed Fox’s remorse saying, quote, “It obviously was an oversight on our part and we apologize.” The Vikings won the game, 20-16.
