College Football Predictions Week 8: Boise State Broncos and Teams That Need a Blow out Victory
The BCS standings are a weird system. It punishes teams that win, but not win in a big blow out victory. However, if a team that wins in a huge way, is rewarded by moving up in the standings.
This is why teams like, Boise State, who doesn’t has another team that is ranked on their schedule this year, needs to have a huge blow out victory today.
These two teams today need to win not only by what they are favored by today, but they need to double that spread to impress the poll voters.
Here are these two teams that will have to win in a big way today.
Boise State Broncos (-28 1/2) vs. Air Force Falcons
Boise State is that team that has to win this game by 56 points. However, Air Force is a good team, that can match this Broncos team in the offensive fire power. No, Air Force isn’t as good as Boise, but they will gain a lot of yards on the ground.
However, Air Force is a terrible team on defense that is a poor tackling team.
It will lead to Boise State having a big blow out victory today.
Stanford Cardinal (-20) vs. Washington Huskies
Stanford is lucky to have this game against a ranked Washington team. Washington is a bad 5-1 team, that will be exposed by Andrew Luck and the Stanford Cardinal tonight.
Fans can expect to see Luck and the Cardinal to score at will tonight, as he has a huge day, showing the people who vote in the polls that they should be considered for a BCS championship game.
It’s two teams that had an easy schedule leading up to the BCS standings last week. They need a huge victory today, as if they do not, it will do more harm to their BCS standings than good.
